Looking for a fun way to get moving? 

Grab your family and friends for a story-filled adventure along the banks of the Carrabassett River. Enjoy a fun book and a gentle hike at our StoryWalk® trail, located at the Whitten Woods Trailhead by the Wire Bridge! The trail is in and out and roughly 3/4 miles.

Feeling energetic? 

The main Whitten Woods trail offers a 1.8-mile round-trip hike. Plus, Whitten Woods offers two additional trailheads located off the Middle Road.

FYI:

The terrain can be a bit uneven, so wear sturdy shoes. Also, consider bug spray!
