Saturday, August 22, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m

•  UBM (United Bikers of Maine) Event at the New Portland fairgrounds. The library will have a table outside the entrance gate with baked goods and homemade canned items such as pickles, eggs, relishes, snacks, and yummy sweet treats. If you would like to donate any items to help us feed the motorcycle enthusiasts who come from near and far to ride through and enjoy our beautiful area, please contact us!  Or stop by that day and grab some goodies from our table. 

Saturday, August 22,  9–11:30 a.m.

•  Reiki with Michelle Abbott at the library. Free 15-minute chair reiki sessions. All donations benefit the library. 

Friday, September 11, 10- 11 a.m. 

•  Homeschool Hangout resumes. Join us for STEM/STEAM activities on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month (starting in October). Sign Language Club hopes to meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays. 

Sunday, September 13, 3 p.m

•  Book Club — We will discuss Fairy Tale by Stephen King and decide on titles for the upcoming months. {Regular Meetings are on Monday Evenings (once a month). A small group meets monthly to discuss the book of the month.}

•  Adult Summer Reading Challenge wrap-up, 4 p.m. —There’s still time to join the fun and sign up!

• New Portland Fair — Come out, enjoy the fair, and be the first to get Calendar Raffle tickets!

Saturday, October 17, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

• Craft Fair —It’s never too early to reserve your spot and start advertising your crafts!

Saturday, November 14, 5 –10 a.m. 

• Hunters’ Breakfast Fundraiser in the NP Community Room. Want to build a new New Portland tradition? Consider volunteering at our newest fundraiser! We have plenty to do, and many hands make light work. Interested? Reach out to the library! No worries—you don’t need to be a hunter to come out and enjoy breakfast. Fathers are welcome too!
